The City of Montgomery is the capital of Alabama and home to many Alabama government agencies, two military facilities, Maxwell Air Force Base and Gunter Air Force Base, Annex, along with several industrial businesses. This employment brings many families to our River Region, and many families who return here to retire. Our River Region has so much to offer with its history, culture, recreation, and entertainment; the possibilities are endless.

He purchased approximately 1000 acres and set out to build his manufacturing facilities and town along the banks of Autauga Creek. The town became an industrial center and rapidly grew. Prattville is known today as the “Birthplace of Industry” and “The Preferred Community”. Prattville is pro-business and expanding its economic development at a rapid pace. It is known for its historic places and several other attractions, which include its many Artesian Wells, the Wilderness ”Bamboo” Park, Bass Pro Shop, home to Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail’s Capitol Hill.
